Champion Juicer
The Champion Juicer has been a vital part of our lives for about ten years now and we LOVE it! We use it multiple times every day. I juice at three different times during the day, and my son and husband also use it.
We have only had to replace two of the parts – the cutter (about $30) and the screen (about $10) a couple of times. That’s not bad when we’re talking about ten years of use and using it many times a day. Other than that, we haven’t had to do anything except clean it and use it! It is very sturdy and reliable.
The Champion juicer is easy to clean, which is important, especially if you use it often as we do. If you clean it right after you use it, all you have to do is run the parts under cold water (the screen may need a sponge to take everything off) and you’re done. I don’t like things that take a lot of work, especially when you use them often. This juicer fits the bill.
The Champion makes juice by the mastication process. Masticating means chewing, and in this case, chewing and breaking up the fiber and cells of the produce that you are juicing. Then the juice is extracted from the pulp, yielding rich, dark, nutritious juice.
There are many different types of juicers on the market. We chose the Champion because it is a high quality, durable juicer at an affordable price.
My favorite juices are carrot and celery/apple, although you can make any kind of juice with the Champion. I have not found anything that this juicer can’t handle. It has a large feed-through piece, so it isn’t necessary to do a lot of cutting or chopping before juicing.
You can also make creamy fruit ice cream using the solid screen that comes with it. My daughter’s favorite is to put frozen strawberries and a frozen banana through the juicer for a rich, creamy, HEALTHY treat.
