Hey Erfi,

Thanks for the great post. I work for a small raw food company called Brad's Raw Chips and I was wondering if you would review our chips on your blog. I could send you some free samples. Let me know because I think your content is very relevant to the type of people who buy our raw chips. Thanks!

I do about the same thing you do. I buy organic on things we use often. Really, living in Louisiana right now, we are limited as to what is available organic! Eating produce is THE most important part. All of the processed foods have pesticides and GM ingredients anyway. I feel that I'm way better off eating non-organic produce than none at all!

We are starting to open up our favorite "cookbooks" from the past and doing recipe conversions! It's not as difficult as you think. So far we have done a couple Thai recipes, and next we will be working on Indian food recipes. If you liked ethnic food before going raw, why stop? That's how we have kept it interesting. Yes smoothies for breakfast are a must. We never make the same one. Lunches are leftovers, veggie sandwiches or wraps, dinner is never the same!

Toni,

Thanks for your comment. I totally understand what you're saying. I know that we are eating a certain way because we really believe it's best. So why shouldn't we share it with others? I think when we feel they are truly interested, we should share it.

As I shared, I have gone through times of my life where I restricted myself to a point that wasn't good. I don't feel that is healthy emotionally.

So now, I just eat what I feel I want to, but don't feel the need to put a label on it. But if I get the chance to share with someone, by all means, I will share about it.

Thank you for your thoughts on Our "Label". It is very hard not to share our concerns about what food is doing to others when we know how good raw makes us feel. I also know how I feel after I've "cheated" myself and do try to avoid anything processed without offending anyone. I do strongly believe that the food industry needs to be exposed for the blatant misuse of our loyalty to the USDA and the FDA. History is proving that they do not have our health in mind, but only their profits. Our message to the world is "Don't eat profit".
