Healthy Eating for Labor Day

Looking for way to healthy eating over this holiday weekend? Instead of the standard hots and hamburgs, why not try a beautiful colorful salad and a veggie pizza? Or veggie wraps?  Last night, we had whole wheat pitas stuffed with all raw veggies and I made a delicious raw “cheese” out of sunflower and sesame seeds and a few other ingredients.  I could eat that just about any time!

It’s hard to continue healthy eating if you’re at a picnic or have guests over, but it can be done. And I bet they would even enjoy a change of pace from the routine type of picnic food.
